In the new media era, Jiang Zi, an unlucky girl who relentlessly strives to be seen, quits her stable job in her hometown to become a self-media blogger and moves to Beijing alone. She gets the opportunity to work with her former idol, Ivy; their relationship is both adversarial and friendly, admiring and competing with each other.
Smart, capable, and daring, Jiang Zi gradually carves out her own niche in the new media industry. Meanwhile, she meets Luo Xin, a quirky engineering student. From initial bickering to mutual support, Luo Xin becomes her escape from the mire of her career and a remedy for her despair.
