Machiyama Minato is a 50-year-old woman who has lived her life devoted to her son ever since losing her husband in an unexpected accident 14 years ago. She currently works full-time at a supermarket, bringing energy and positivity to her job with her naturally bright personality.
This spring, as her son becomes a working adult and leaves home, Minato finds herself with “time for herself” for the first time in decades. However, when she finally gains that freedom, she realizes she has no idea what she wants to do.
Then one day, she comes across a “Sushi Academy” that claims it can train someone to become a sushi chef in just three months.
